Everett's Blessing

Everett was blessed last Sunday May 22nd. Stu did such a great job and we were so blessed to have so many important people stand in for us. My grandpa was in town from Colorado who we named Everett's middle name after. We were so lucky to have him here. Also Stu's mission president is currently serving as the Visitor Center President in the Mesa Az Temple. He was able to stand in as well as Stu's Uncle Dave, his cousins Ty and Kris, both my brothers, my dad, my uncle Val and our good friend Todd Rogers who is like a second dad to me. It was such a great sacrament meeting as well. Since Stu's Uncle Dave is in the Quorum of the 70 he was presiding at the meeting and he gave his testimony at the end. Also there was a missionary farewell and he did such a great job. It was a spiritual feast.
For Everett's blessing I found Rivers and Everett matching bow ties from J Crew and I found me a skirt from Anthro to match. We decided to do a black and yellow color scheme. Also I have had a lot of people ask me where I got the other bow ties Everett has worn to church at and they are J Crew also.
We are so grateful to everyone who came for Everett's blessing. We love our little family and our little Everett so much!! We are so blessed!

We went to the Visitor Center after church to thank the Whites for coming. We will miss them so much when they are done.

Everett Ray Foust

I am so horrible at updating my blog! Everett Ray Foust was born on April 12, 2011 at 10:15am. We went in at 3am to get induced. The computers weren't working very well that night so I didn't get started until about 430. I got my epidural at 8 am and went from a 6 to a 10 in about an hour and a half. I pushed for 20 minutes and he was here. 8lbs 8oz and 21 inches. This birth was 10 times easier than Rivers. He is the BEST baby and we can't imagine our lives without him! We love him so much and are relived Rivers does too!

Also Stu graduated from the Masters of Taxation at ASU. We are so happy he is done with school forever!!!

I also wanted to post some pictures of us going to church the last 2 Sundays. I love matching my little family! I don't have girls to dress up so I have to do it to my boys! We were all in brown on mothers day and last Sunday we were all wearing a hint of red. I love that Stu puts up with all of my nonsense.

Rivers wearing Haylee's boots. He loves boots.... I think its time we got him his own pair. I guess it has been a little harder to keep up with my blog than I thought. I guess it comes with being 8 months pregnant and having a 2 year old. Rivers has been so much fun lately. I love watching him learn new things and grow. He is obsessed with coloring, building towers and castles and playing outside. He also LOVES LOVES to read and do puzzles. He woke up at 1 am (which he never does) Yelling in his room, " All done, read book, read book, egg and ham." He loves the book green eggs and ham but seriously did he have to wake up at 1 asking to read it!? He is so funny and keeps up laughing everyday with the stuff he says. I almost feel guilty at times for having another baby because I know Everett will take so much time away from Rivers. I just hope Rivers will want to be involved (in a good/safe way) We are so excited to meet this little man! I will be getting induced Tuesday at 3am! So ready.

Baby Everett, and Disneyland

Steve Porter shot this picture for our ward calendar of Riv and my dad in his garden.
I started to make a book for our family journal and took all my old blog posts and realized it is so much easier to have a blog and transfer into a book then to do it by scratch. So, I decided to start my blog up again in hopes I will do better this time around.

We are due in 9 weeks with our second boy who we are naming after Stu's grandpa Everitt Foust. We decided to change the I to an E so we can call him Rhett. We are so excited to add another little boy to our family and can't wait to meet him in just a few weeks. Rivers comes up to my stomach now and says baby Ebritt. It will be so fun for him to have a baby brother.

Stu is finishing up his last semester of his master's program and starts full time with BDO Seedman in June. We love the company and feel so blessed he has been able to work for them for the last year and a half and gets to continue working for them.

We have been cramming in a few trips before tax season gets too busy and Everett gets here. We went to Disneyland a few weeks ago for Stu's birthday, Then to Tucson for Wicked with our friends and then to Utah this last weekend for a boarding/Foust family trip. It was a ton of fun.

Next on our list, baby, tax season, graduation, fixing up the outside and master bath in our house and then Montana in June! We are looking forward to 2011 and all the wonderful things it will bring to our family!

Toy Story Mania was the best ride! Rivers was cracking up the whole time
Rivers with his favorite people in the world, Stu, Mary Poppins and Burt. He is obsessed with the movie and asks for it almost everyday.

Rivey is 1!!

I can't believe my baby is one. I guess he isn't much of a baby anymore. He is taking lots of steps and being naughty. I love him more than anything and I am so grateful he is apart of our family! I figured I would list my 12 favorite things about Rivers, one for each month he has been apart of our family.

12. I love how you throw your bottle as far as you can when you are done drinking it.

11. (I don't love that you are the pickiest eater alive) I do love how you wave your hands back and forth when we put something in your mouth that you don't like.

10. I love to hear you say words and I love how you yell when we clap our hands and say yeah! Its like you are proud of yourself too.

9. I love how you love music and you clap your hands when we start singing if your happy and you know it clap your hands.

8. I love your bird lip

7. I love your brown eyes

6. I love how you get so excited when you see someone you love come in the room.

5. I love it when you are tired and you want to cuddle with me and hold your blanket and play with the yarn on it when you suck your thumb.

4. I love how you see your blanket on the floor and you will crawl and face plant into it and talk gibberish into it.

3. I love that you are happiest when you are outside or when you making a mess. I never knew you could be so cute covered in dirt.

2. I love that you stay in the bath so long you get all wrinkled. You love your bath more than most things!

1. My most favorite thing about you Riv is your gap the size of another tooth in between your two front teeth. It produces the cutest smile ever! I LOVE you turtle and i hope you have a happy birthday!

What in the world?!

cutest baby in the world!
Riv in his beanie
Rivers playing in one of the many boxes of stuff coming for our house.

I guess everyone that has experience in remodeling a home will tell you it takes longer than expected and it is also more stressful than expected. I never thought picking out paint would be much more difficult then picking out flooring. However We are loving the way our home is shaping up and we should be moved in by the second or third week in Nov. We are finishing up painting next week, flooring goes in on the 6th and after that it should be smooth sailing. We will do landscaping and painting in the spring as well as fixing up the backyard by the pool.

Rivers is getting so old. He isn't my little baby anymore. It makes me so sad. He is moving around everywhere. He is so close to walking. He can say mama dada ba for ball dah for dog ca or tah for cat and he tries really hard to say Jesus. It ends up sounding like cheeses. He is such a funny little boy and he is so much fun. I must say the older he gets the more baby hungry I get but I assume that's natural. He likes to see how far he can go without getting told no no. He usually ends up doing what we were discouraging him to do. Its funny because after we say baby no, no he always laughs after he has done what we've told him not to do. We love our Rivey and he makes us laugh everyday. Thats all from here but we hope to have pictures of our house up soon!

Montana

Ha! We went to Montana back in July and I am just posting pictures. It as always is our favorite trip and it was even better this year because we were able to take along my little sister Haylee and of course having Rivers there. Rivers loved being with all the cousins and it was a blast being at the ranch and going up to Glacier. The weather was amazing and of course our family skit night, softball tournaments and hiking made the trip amazing. Here are some of the highlights of our trip. These pictures are backwards.

River and his closest cousin Rhett. He is 7 months older than Rivers. He was born at 2 lbs so he is small for his age and OBVIOUSLY Rivers is large for his age.
